Everything at us goes easily online. Find a bike you like on our website, choose your dates and package and pay online. Shortly after, you will receive a confirmation email with a barcode. 

We might get in contact with you close before your booking starts to confirm the bike delivery location and time. 

In case you have any questions, please reach us by Whatsapp. We’ll do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Because we do everything digital, we accept most common payment methods, including CreditCard, iDEAL, Mastercard/Visa Debit (you know, like Bunq, Revolut or N26), Sofort Banking and more.

In case you have any issue with your payment or booking, please don’t hesitate to contact us by whatsapp, we are happy to help you out.

You pay for your booking online. Only on the day of arrival, you have pay a deposit for your bike. You can pay easily through a payment link received in your email or directly by card at our staff members on delivery.

If you’re bike is delivered back as you got it, you will receive your deposit back within 14 days, but usually its quicker.

You can cancel your booking for free up to 48 hours before your booking starts. After that, you will be charged 100% for your booking.

Please send us a Whatsapp message or email cancel@bikerentalalgarve.com with your full name and booking number. 

We consider the time of your incoming cancellation message or email as your cancellation time. 

You will receive your payment back within 14 days, but usually that’s quicker.

Upon your booking, you fill in your preferred bike delivery and pick-up time and date. We do our best to plan our schedule around your preferred date and time.

We will contact you a couple days before your booking starts by email, phone or whatsapp to confirm your bike delivery address and time. 

Please be aware that we really do our best to delivery your bike on your requested time, but as we deliver bikes in 3 different cities, we might be unable to deliver it exactly as per your request. 

But don’t worry, we’ll contact you in advance. If you would have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us by Whatsapp, then we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

We deliver in a range of 10km from Sagres, Vila do Bispo and Lagos.

If you’re not sure if we deliver to your hotel, camping our house, please send us a message on Whatsapp with your address, then our team we’ll have a look if we can make that work!

We don’t have transport costs in the range of 10km from Sagres and Vila do Bispo. Long-term rentals (4+ days) from Lagos (10km) also have free transport costs.

Outside of that area we charge €20 for every additional 10km.

It will be charged based on the length of the delay. It will be charged at 100 euros for each day that the bike is not returned. If you notify us in advance (2 days’ notice) and your bike is available on the subsequent days, then the rental period can be extended based on the standard rates.

You should be responsible for your own insurance. We are not liable for any damage to the bike, you or someone/something else during your rental period. 

Your rental period is considered the moment from your barcode check-in to your barcode check-out.

We recommend everyone to book separately. If you’re worried that someone else might be quicker and we don’t have any more bikes left, please send us a message on Whatsapp so we can find a suitable solution together.

In the same condition it was in after your last day of cycling. You’re on holiday – we’ll clean it!

Remember to return all of the accessories and extras, as otherwise you will be charged for them. If you return it in poor condition from falls or other incidents and you did not take out the insurance, you will be charged for the parts at the rates provided by the supplier.

The customer is responsible for any breakdowns or repairs which occur while using the bike, based on current market rates. In the recommendations section there is a list of shops and workshops with which we have agreements that will repair your bike as soon as possible. You can also contact us to call out our breakdown service.

Yes. This service is intended for carrying out repairs to damage sustained through normal use of the bike or accidents. One of our mechanics will come out to carry out the repair.

Rates:

• Transport: €40 return.
• Replacement parts: Recommended retail price from our supplier.
• Mechanic’s labour charge: Free.

We hope we never encounter this situation, but cycling can be like that. If you have not taken out our insurance policy, you will be responsible for replacing the broken parts based on current market rates. The replacement of parts will depend on their availability within our business, or from our suppliers.

You are responsible when the bike gets stolen during your booking. Even though we have good locks, we highly recommend to park your bike in eyesight at all times.

Parking your bike near train stations or public garages overnight is not allowed. 

Please ask your hotel or camping if they have a safe parking area for the bike to avoid a surprise the next morning.

Our bikes have GPS-trackers, which we will only use in case the bike gets stolen. We will do our best to find back the bike, however if we don’t have success, you are responsible for the losses.
